Why Soft Skills are critical to your success as a Project Manager

In today's business environment, which is becoming more and more technology driven, exceptional soft skills are more relevant and needed than ever before.  During this presentation, we will cover the meaning of soft skills and review many specific examples of soft skills, along with their relevance.  This will be an interactive presentation and attendees will benefit from obtaining a good understanding of why it's important for Project Managers to develop and nurture soft skills in order to be successful in today's demanding business environment.  

             Jonathan Cary - Information Technology Executive           

Jonathan Cary's experience in the field of information technology spans over nearly three decades, with many of those years in project management and leadership roles. He has worked in many different industries, with primary experience in the insurance and healthcare industries. 

Jonathan has extensive experience in IT Operations and Project Management.  Currently, Jonathan serves as an Account Executive – vCIO with Global Data Systems, a local IT Managed Services company. In his current role, Jonathan provides day to day operational support and strategic consulting and planning for a large and rapidly growing enterprise client.

Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Louisiana – Lafayette.  He is PMP, CSM, and Six Sigma Black Belt certified. Also, he is a master-level graduate of Rapport Leadership International.
